Group Therapy in Etobicoke and Online Across Ontario
You do not have to do this alone. Group therapy gives you a small, steady room of people who get it, plus a clinician in the chair who keeps the space safe and useful.
I'm Emma, a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist. I run small therapy groups for adults in Etobicoke and online across Ontario, so you can share what is hard, hear how others handle it, and leave with something you can actually use.
Who this is for
Adults who feel stuck in anxiety, ADHD overwhelm, low mood, stress, or relationship patterns and want more than one-to-one alone. People who want connection without the chaos of a big open forum. Clients already in individual therapy who want peer support alongside it. Anyone curious about group but worried it will feel awkward. You can start shy. Most people do.
Group therapy at Enduring Minds is a small, facilitated circle, not a lecture and not a drop-in chat. Emma Isai, Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, holds a regular meeting where members share struggles, practice skills, and get feedback in real time. Groups meet in person in Etobicoke or over secure video for anyone in Ontario. Spots are limited on purpose so everyone gets airtime.
Many people join when individual sessions are helping but they still feel isolated, or when they want skills practice with others who live the same patterns. If one-to-one care fits better first, individual therapy is an option. Couples who need relationship work should look at couples therapy instead. To see which groups are open and whether you are a fit, get in touch.
Formats
Ongoing process / support group: a small closed or semi-open group that meets regularly. Same faces, growing trust.
Skills-focused group: structured sessions on themes like anxiety, ADHD in daily life, stress, or relationship patterns, with practice between meetings.
Short series: a set number of weeks on one theme when a full ongoing group is not what you need.
Common focuses: anxiety and overthinking, adult ADHD and executive function, stress and burnout, shame and self-criticism, and the relationship patterns that keep repeating. Exact offerings change with demand. Ask what is running now.

Frequently asked questions
Is group therapy the same as a support group online?
No. This is facilitated psychotherapy with a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist in a small group. There is structure, confidentiality, and clinical care, not an open forum.
Do I have to share a lot?
No. You can go at your pace. Listening is part of the work too. Most people talk more once the room feels safe.
Is it in person or online?
Both options can run: in person in Etobicoke, or virtual for adults across Ontario. Availability depends on the group.
Can I do group and individual therapy together?
Yes. Many clients use both. Group for connection and skills practice; individual for deeper one-to-one work.
How many people are in a group?
Small on purpose, usually enough for real conversation without getting lost. Exact size depends on the offering. Ask when you enquire.
How do I join?
Message to ask which groups have space. We will talk through fit, timing, and next steps before you commit.
