ADHD Coaching and Therapy for Adults in Toronto and Across Ontario

All services and pricing

You have read the productivity books. You have bought the planners. You know what you are supposed to do. The problem was never information. ADHD coaching is about building systems that survive contact with an ADHD brain, and dealing with the years of "why can't I just" that come with a late diagnosis or no diagnosis at all.

I'm Emma, a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist. I offer ADHD coaching on its own and combined with psychotherapy, because for most adults the ADHD and the anxiety are tangled together and treating one without the other only gets you halfway.

Who this is for

Adults diagnosed with ADHD who have medication (or don't) and still struggle with follow-through, time, and overwhelm. Adults who suspect ADHD and want to talk it through with someone who knows what to look for. Partners of people with ADHD who want to understand what is going on. Students and professionals whose work is suffering in ways that do not match how smart they are.

What sessions look like

Coaching is structured. We pick one or two things that are costing you the most (a morning routine that falls apart, a work project that never starts, an inbox at 4,000) and build a system for that specific thing, then test it for a week and adjust. Therapy sessions go deeper into the emotional side: rejection sensitivity, shame, burnout, the relationship strain. You can book either or both.

Pricing

ADHD coaching: 60 minutes $100 + HST, 90 minutes $150 + HST. ADHD-focused psychotherapy is billed at the individual therapy rate ($130 / $195, HST-exempt). Ask in the consultation about which one fits, or how to combine them.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between ADHD coaching and ADHD therapy?

Coaching is forward-facing and practical: systems, routines, accountability. Therapy addresses the emotional weight that ADHD carries, such as anxiety, shame, and relationship strain. Many adults benefit from both, and I offer both.

Can you diagnose ADHD?

No. Diagnosis in Ontario comes from a physician, psychiatrist, or psychologist. I can help you decide whether an assessment is worth pursuing, prepare you for it, and work with you before, during, and after. You do not need a formal diagnosis to start coaching.

Does ADHD coaching work without medication?

Yes. Medication helps many people, but it does not build habits or systems. Coaching does that whether or not you take medication.

Is ADHD coaching covered by insurance?

Coaching on its own is usually not covered and is subject to HST. ADHD psychotherapy delivered by an RN Psychotherapist is HST-exempt and often covered under psychotherapy or nursing benefits. I provide receipts for both.

How is this different from the ADHD content I see online?

The content is general. This is specific to your job, your household, and the exact place where things fall apart. And there is someone checking in next week.
